Chef Fabrizio, a contemporary Italian cuisine chef and also a professionally trained sommelier would be in Favola, Le Meridien KL to lead the kitchen with "Inspiring Italy" food promotion which is held form 4-12 June 2011.
I was one the of very few lucky "media and bloggers" who was able to watch a chef who was born and raised in Italy and worked around the world cook and at the same time share his culinary knowledge with us. 3 out of the 21 menu dishes was demonstrated to us to show us that ingredients used are fresh, made from scratch, and most important cooked to perfection.
The first dish, Eggplant Millefeuille, Fresh Goat Cheese and Basil
Spaghetti, Maine Lobster and Fresh Spring Herb Pesto
Saffron Risotto, Crispy Seafood and Red Capsicum Sauce
and also some very authentic italian food for us to taste
